From Shape to Stitch

In this 6-hour workshop (split into two 3-hour sessions), you’ll explore basic stitches, experiment with vibrant designs, and create your own unique textile piece. Perfect for beginners and anyone seeking a relaxing, creative experience.

Join me for a fun and relaxing 6-hour workshop ( spreaded on 2 sessions). Discover how to turn simple design shapes into your own masterpiece while exploring the world of needlework! This hands-on session covers essential stitches, techniques, and tips to kickstart your creative journey. The workshop is held in a group of up to 8 participants max.

What you will learn

The basics stitches like running stitch, backstitch, satin stitch, French knots and more... How to compose a design with the given elements and how to convert this one into your fabric. What material you can use (yarns/fabric etc) and how you are going to fill in the pattern (colors/embroidery stitches). Some embroidery basics such as finishing the back of your embroidery hoop.

Materials

✔ All materials provided ( Embroidery needles, Embroidery hoop, Embroidery threads, Fabric for your main project )
✔ Personal guidance in a small group
✔ Creative, cosy atmosphere
✔ Take your finished artwork home

( You’re welcome to bring your own fabric. I recommend that you bring a natural fabric made with tight weave like linnen, cotton, or canvas...)

Skill level

The session is suitable for beginners, but also fun for experienced stitchers who like to practice on a different type of fabric and design.

6-hours workshop ( spread in 2 sessions — approx. 3 hours per session )
