Who am I ?
I am a modern embroider dedicated to making authentic artwork. I create colorful designs using threads and needle, sometimes beads and lately experimenting with the combination of ceramics and embroidery… I like to reinvent embroidery by making an empowering statement. All my work is hand crafted in my atelier in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands.
Formerly educated as a graphic designer, I made a radical switch in my career after a life changing event in 2019. Embroidery started as a way to help me get through the day and became a method of healing.
Color is crucial in my work, details are key and each stitch becomes an emotion. Working as a modern embroider turned out to be something I am passionate about.
